CURTIS, MUSH, & OUR NEXT SHOW! - August 10, 2009

Hey Everybody,

We are pleased to announce that founding Coyote Kings member and drummer/singer extraordinaire, Curtis "Rocket" Johnson, is back! Effective immediately he will be resuming his roll, providing the beat (and some very soulful vocals) for Coyote Kings' smokin' hot rockin' Blues & bluesy Rock!

Curtis was away on some personal business for the last few weeks and we're happy he's back!

We'd also like to take this opportunity to thank Emilio Cabrales for doing such a great job filling in while Curtis was away. He's one hell of a drummer and we appreciate the help and wish him the best.

We'd also like to announce that "The Queen Of Blue-eyed Soul" Michelle "Mush" Morgan will be joining us at Tagaris Winery this coming Friday and Saturday evenings. Mush sings on our brand new CD "Coyote Kings' Large Band Extravaganza!" and adding her amazing voice and presence to our live show really kicks it over the top!

That's this coming Fri and Sat, 8/14 &15 at the Taverna Tagaris patio at Tagaris Winery, off Queensgate in Richland, WA, USA. Showtime is 7pm both nights. This is a really remarkably beautiful outdoor venue with a restaurant, full bar, a 50ft basalt fountain and a capacity of about 300 people. It's a great place to party to Coyote Kings!

We hope to see you there!

Ok Kids, the show we've all been waiting for is coming up this Saturday, August 1st...

Time flies when yer havin fun, hunh! Ok, we've finished tracking the studio tracks for the new CD! Hold on to your seats when you put this on for the first time, because we ROCKED IT (if we do say so ourselves). Robin is franticly working to get the CD out by the first of June. Just like "Feelin' Lucky," "THE COYOTE KINGS' LARGE BAND EXTRAVAGANZA" will be released on TwinLion/Hot Poop Records and will be available EVERYWHERE... on this planet anyway. Don't worry, we'll let you know the minute it comes out!

We have a coupla shows this month but mostly we're gearing up to hit it HARD in June. Check our show schedule for dates and locations! For now, we want to have the best CD out that you've ever heard, so here we go... work, work, work, work, work, work, work, work....

We told ya BIG things were coming this year, well... this is the first one!

Last fall Coyote Kings recorded live at Sapolil Cellars in Walla Walla, WA, USA. Many of you were there and it was a total blast! The joint was jumpin', the band was pumpin', the SRO crowd was HOT HOT HOT!

que sad music
Unfortunately, due to a digital disaster the recoding was ruined and the CD that was planned is not to be. Dark days indeed.

What could we do... we know that so many of our friends have been waiting for the CD and Coyote Kings surely don't want to disappoint (can't have it... wouldn't be a Coyote Kingsly thing to do), so we figured we'd better do it again! Only this time, bigger, better, and even more fun than the last time, so...
